Windows 8 and Jim Kitchen's INC games

Hello members!
I am using Windows 8 and have installed the Kitchen's INC games on my computer; I can open and play the game of Life but when I try to unzip the other games in order to play them I get an error message. I have tried modifying the user account settings, and that doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I had to contact Jim at kitchens inc games to get help with installing his games. I had windows xp at that time, now have windows 7 and when I got the new computer, it was tricky for my friend to install the games. You may want to contact Jim for help with instillation. HTH.
